Research. Educate. Empower.

Our Work

The Four Corners Foundation (4CF) was founded in 2003 as an advocate for the thoughtful and strategic use of water in the Gallatin River Watershed and beyond. We are a private nonprofit, primarily funded through the Willow Springs Family Foundation.

Our work is motivated by three goals:

Information Leads to Action

Our Values:
  • We believe that healthy rivers with adequate instream flows can support the needs of fisheries, agriculture, and local communities.
  • We value water rights and the way of life these rights support, including protection of the open spaces that ensure the long-term health of all watersheds.
  • We love cold, clean water and the people who respect it and work to protect it.
{

“A river is more than an amenity, it is a treasure.”
